EAMCET 2009 seat allotment details

The seat allotment details for EAMCET 2009 Engineering admissions is due on 31/08/2009. But it seems that it will take few more days as many private engineering college managements requesting to include the management seats also in the convener quota as they are fearing of less candidates.

All the medical seats for EAMCET 2009 were filled completely during the recently concluded Medical admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in Andhra Pradesh.

Karnataka CM announces free swine flu tests

Karnataka Chief Minister yedyurappa announced that government will bear the cost of swine flu treatment for poor and needy people. He requested government and private hospitals not collect the fee from patients instead to send it to government for reimbursement.
The flu test costs anywhere between Rs.700 to Rs.2400. Government will fix the rate for these tests and will reimburse them to hospitals. Further details are awaited.

Recession Fades away the shine of computer courses

The current recession had affected the MCA colleges in Andhra Pradesh as most of students opted out of MCA courses and joining MBA courses.

During recently concluded ICET 2009 admissions through web counselling, there are around 13000 MCA seats were vacant whereas only around 200 seats were vacant in MBA colleges.
